Do you offer worldwide shipping?

Yes, I ship worldwide with registered post and provide a tracking number for each package. To find out how much shipping would cost to your country, feel free to take a look at the shipping section underneath the item description on the right side of your screen. You can also see the shipping cost when you add an item to your cart.

What’s your handling time?

I will prepare and ship your vintage item within 2 working days after you have placed your order. As soon as I ship your vintage bag, belt or accessory, I will update your Etsy order details and mark it as shipped. Handling time may vary sometimes due to national holidays. I will notify you in advance if this happens.

How long will my vintage item take to arrive?

I will ship your vintage item within 2 working days. After I ship your item I will mark your order as shipped and I will update your Etsy order with the tracking number.

Items shipped within the European Union usually take around 6-10 working days. Overseas delivery usually takes around 15-20 working days. Depending on the destination country and the postal services it might take longer but should not take more than 21 business days.

If for any reason you do not receive your vintage piece of clothing or accessories within 21 working days, feel free to contact me back. I will investigate the case and get back to you with an update as soon as possible.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes, I ship all my vintage items via registered post with a tracking number. I will send you the tracking number as soon as I ship your package, so you can track your vintage bag or purse, shoes or scarf till it reaches your door. You may also leave your phone number in the note section when placing your order so I can provide it to the shipping provider if needed.

Do you offer shipping upgrades in case I need my vintage item quicker?

Yes, I can organize a courier for you in case you would like to receive your vintage bag, belt or accessory faster. Feel free to contact me if you need your vintage item quicker and I can courier it over to you. I will be able to give you a quote and approximate shipping time for the item you have selected.

Do you offer gift wrapping and packaging?

All my items come neatly packaged in simple craft paper and twine with a BlastFromThePastBags business card and a thank you note. They are gift-ready. If you'd like to present the vintage bag, scarf, dress, shirt or belt as a gift, just let me know and I will be happy to white anything you'd like on the thank you card. If you are presenting the item as a gift for special occasion, just let me know and I can use special gift wrapping paper that corresponds to the theme - Birthday, Christmas, or any other occasion :)

Are there any specific care instructions for my leather bag/belt?

Most of the vintage bags, purses, shoes, sandals, boots and belts in my shop are made of genuine leather. Leather goods are usually very easy to care for and will last you for a very long time if you take proper care of them.

*Every other day, give your item a quick sweep with a soft dry cloth.
*Every 3-4 weeks condition the leather apply special leather conditioner/ polish on a soft cloth and gentry rub the surface. Test it out on small surface first, as some leather items may slightly change their color depending on the polish/ conditioner you use.
*To preserve the shape of your bag, fill it with stuffing when you are not using it, to ensure that it stays in shape.

Are there any specific care instructions for my vintage shirt/ skirt/ dress/ scarf?

I carefully hand wash all of my vintage items, so they are ready to wear as soon as you receive them. Some of my vintage items have care instructions marked on the label. For the ones that do not have care instructions, I would recommend to wash them by hand or machine wash them using a gently cycle and warm water and wash them with similar colors.

Do you accept custom or personalized orders?

All the items in my shop are vintage and they are one of a kind. Most of my items are from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Due to the nature of the items in my shop, I am unable to accept custom or personalized orders. However if you are looking for something special, let me know and I will be happy to get in touch if I get my hands on something similar :)

If I am not satisfied with the vintage item I have ordered, will I be able to return it?

Yes. If for any reason you the item that you have ordered for not feel quite right to you, or you have simply changed your mind, feel free to contact me within 14 days after you have received your package. I will provide you with a return address, so you can ship your vintage bag, belt, shoes, shirt, dress, skirt or scarf back. I will organize a refund for you once the item arrives back. The shipping charges are non-refundable.
